Movie on a Stick photos and video clips

Spent the day Saturday going through 286 clips and nearly 300 photos in preparation for the editing process. That means importing them into Final Cut Pro and iPhoto, renaming them, removing the bad ones entirely, and doing some preliminary touch-ups on color and cropping.

Not sure which I am most inspired to tackle first – the actual film or the photobook? We have great material for each. I’m thinking I might have to bounce between the two as editing one or the other starts to feel tedious.

We also printed the photos for those who sponsored a stick and Bich put all 12 of them into frames for me. Again, those will be sent out with the DVDs to backers at that level.

Remarkably, although there were a few minor audio problems with a small handful of clips, there was only one clip where we absolutely had no sound whatsoever for some reason. And it happened to be the review of the double-bacon corn dog. So we’ll have to get Randy and Katrina back in “the studio” to dub some voiceover and think of a clever way to address it in the film.
